Diss & District Allotment Holders Association
This thriving association currently has 62 members, and a waiting list for plots. Annual subscription for a whole plot (approx. 30’ x 90’) is currently £25, although most are now split in half (approx. 45’ x 30’) due to the high demand for plots. The annual subscription for a half plot is currently £16. Membership includes affiliation to the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners which offers advice and guidance to the Association, as well as the availability to members of a cheap seed scheme through King’s Seeds. There is an on-site shop run by the committee which is open regularly to members throughout the growing season, and which sells a variety of garden supplies, such as birdproof net, canes, gloves, twine, bonemeal, lime, organic manure, and much more.
