The small and intimate museum has a fascinating collection of artefacts and displays about Diss and the surrounding East Anglian countryside over the years. See Victorian photos, work tools and clothing relating to Diss and the way it has changed as the years have passed. The exhibitions are changed on a regular basis so there should always be something new to discover. Entry is free.

Visit the 4 Courtyard’s in Diss for that unique shopping experience.  Here you will find individual boutiques offering a wide range of goods.

Diss Mere.  The unique character of Diss is due in no small measure to the beautiful six-acre Mere, which brings an interesting variety of wildlife into the heart of the town. Running down to the water.

The Park is an open space for the enjoyment of all complete with children’s play area, but may also be used to provide a special environment for festivals, open air events and charity fundraising.

Diss Swim & Fitness Centre has a 25 metre main pool and a learner pool. There is also a gym, sauna, steam room and spa. A variety of water-based and gym classes take place along with an extensive swimming lesson programme.

Frenze Beck Nature Reserve is a creation of a small wetland wildlife paradise on the western bank of the River Frenze in Diss, and this formerly unused ground has now been commended by the Environment Agency as part of its celebration of World Wetlands Day.  Activity days are organized throughout the year, for details contact: 01508 533684

Monsters Ltd. is a purpose built play and party area for toddlers through to 10 yr olds. Play areas are monitored by trained staff but children remain the responsibility of a parent or guardian and must be supervised at all times.
