JUNIOR GOOD CITIZEN OF DISS
It is always very difficult to pick out young people that are particularly worthy of special mention in the Community, but some people deserve just that. The Junior Good Citizen Award is awarded by Diss Town Council to pay tribute to a young person who has demonstrated good citizenship. We are looking for any young person of school age who has done something to make a difference to the lives of other citizens of Diss. This could be helping a sick relative or friend, or someone who has been involved in a project to make Diss a more pleasant place to live.
Nominations can be from friends, parents, relations or any resident of Diss and should be sent to the Town Clerk. Presentation of the Award will be made by the Town Mayor and will take place at a Meeting of Council in early summer to coincide with the end of the last term of the academic year. The recipient will receive an engraved scroll and their name will be inscribed on a Roll of Honour board in the Council Chamber.
