Corn Hall
The Corn Hall is currently the subject of a major Regeneration Project with the Town Council working together with the Corn Hall Regeneration Group to achieve a multi-purpose cultural facility for South Norfolk. Details of the project and information on upcoming events is available on a new purpose built website for the Corn Hall.

orn Hall
This historic building in the heart of Diss offers thoroughly modern facilities, with flexible accommodation which can meet a variety of needs at very reasonable cost. Principal uses include dinners, dances, wedding receptions, indoor sport, trade and craft fairs, exhibitions, seminars, meetings, lectures, special sales and auctions.

This impressive high-ceilinged hall in classical style is 12.8m x 22.8m (42ft x 75ft). There is a superb dance floor and the Assembly Hall can cater for 275 seated or 200 dining. Tables and chairs can be provided and set up to individual requirements. A rostrum, amplification and blackout capability are also available.
The Assembly Hall has recently been redecorated and the outside stone work cleaned and restored.
The Waveney Room
At 5.75m x 9.14m (19ft x 30ft), the Waveney Room is ideal for medium-sized gatherings, holding 50 seated or 30 dining. With an integral bar and fully-equipped kitchen, this facility is both welcoming and versatile.
The Council Chamber
With a separate entrance and en-suite facilities, the Council Chamber is ideal for intimate gatherings. Measuring 5.7m x 10m (19ft x 33ft), the lower tables seat 12, with a further six at the top table. In addition, there is gallery seating for 24. The accompanying retiring room may be booked separately for private meetings of up to eight people.
The Old Stables
The Old Stables provide atmosphere and original country style. The Gallery is a charming exhibition space which may be used for a number of purposes. In addition to exhibitions of arts and crafts, it is perfect for intimate theatre, literary readings and music. Other uses include small conferences, seminars and training groups. Toilets and disabled facilities are available.
A flexible space
As part of the Corn Hall complex, The Olds Stables Gallery is available in conjunction with the main building, or may be hired separately. The display area is 4m x 9.75m (13ft x 32ft). The eastern end can be curtained off to give a 4m x 4m (13ft x 13ft) area, and the western end at 4m x 2.5m (13ft x 8ft) has a window facing St Nicholas Street.
