Council Information Centre
The Council Information Centre situated in the Town Council offices was opened in October 2005. The aim of the centre, which is a partnership between Norfolk County Council, South Norfolk District Council and Diss Town Council, is to provide face to face information and services to customers across the whole range of council responsibilities. The Centre is open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 1.30pm. The office will be open for telephone enquiries Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9.30-4pm Tuesday & Thursday 9.30-3pm. Listed below are a selection of the information and services available:
- Issuing Rail Cards (payment by cheque only)
- Travel information and timetables
- Council Tax and Housing benefit information
- Planning application enquiries
- Rubbish collection and re-cycling information
