Sponsored Public Seating Scheme
Diss Town Council actively encourages local individuals and organisations to sponsor public seating in the town's Park and other public areas.
Whether you are looking for a way to provide a public memorial to a loved one, or a new way to give your business or club's name a higher profile, the sponsorship of public benches is a wonderful way to give something back to your community.
Public seating is located in the park, on Fair Green, and in and around the town centre. We are happy to discuss your preferred location for sponsored seats.
All benches provided are of the same design, known as the 'Barton', which is both robust and attractive (see below). For all seats sponsored, the Town Council will provide a commemorative plaque with the sponsor's name and a brief inscription of your choice. The seats cost £504 including delivery and installation.
